How do I signup?
Choose the Sign Up button to go to My Ideal Friend best viral advertising signup page. Fill out the sign up form. Here are some signup tips:
1. When choosing your user name, DO NOT put any spaces or special characters In It, such as a dash, &, +, # or underscore. ONLY Letters and Numbers are accepted.
2. Enter your password. You will receive a welcome email with your password to print for your records. If you forget, no worries. There is a password recovery tool that you can use.
3. Emails can be personalized using the name fields. Your information will never be shared with any other third parties. We respect your privacy and hate SPAM with a passion.
4. Please use your primary email address. You will only receive a few emails a day and some free email servers such as AOL, Hotmail, MSN and Yahoo often block some email.
5. The captcha-picture and entry field is used to prevent mass-access by robots. (see: www.captcha.net) Please read and type the 5 chars within 0..9 and A..F into the field next to it. If the entry matches, the form will submit. If you make a typo, no worries. You can make your entry again.
6. Review the terms and submit. You will receive an email in your inbox. Click the confirmation link and you're set to start sending promotional emails.

What is an upline?
Upline means people who joined My Ideal Friend before you. With My Ideal Friend... your upline consists of a maximum of 10 main members (not including sub-members or contacts who signup below the main member). You only get emails from those 10 people. This is what allows you to email hundreds of thousands of members and not receive a ton of email yourself.
What is a downline?
Downline means people who join My Ideal Friend after you. You may however receive an email from a downline member if the member is a paid Ideal member. These members email 5000 random members and you may get an email from these members even if they are in your downline.
Why do you ask for my PayPal email?
We need your PayPal email to send your money gift. Referring members receive a share of the upgrade fee from referrals. This gift is paid to your PayPal email address. You don't have to participate. You can just leave the PayPal field blank. PayPal requires a verified PayPal account for this transaction. Visit Paypal.com for more information about verifying your account.
I upgraded to Ideal member and I did not receive any download link, what should I do?
Login to your account and you will find a link in your member area "Upgrade Bonus".
Why will the system not let me send email ads?
You can send unlimited emails to invite friends to join your list. But to post an email ad, the mail function is turned off until you have at least one contact on your mailing list.
Why am I not getting the confirmation emails?
There are many email providers that block email for many reasons before it even gets to you. We have no control over that. We suggest your domain email or gmail. Gmail receives messages lightning fast without blocking. Here are some steps you can take to solve this issue:
1. Check your spam folder for the Confirmation email.
2. If you have a SPAM arrest account, add @myidealfriend.com to your white list.
3. Add @myidealfriend.com to your address book.
4. Login to MyIdealFriend.com and Resend Activation email.
5.
Register with a different email address.
Why is there an ad in the emails?
We offer this site as a free service and the emails are costly on our server. So we advertise only 4 lines in the top of all emails that go out. It seems only fair. Ideal members do not receive the 4-line ad.
What are the levels and how do they work?
There are two member levels: Free members and Ideal members. Ideal members pay a small monthly fee using PayPal to have more benefits. Login to your account to see the list of benefits. Free members can upgrade and become an Ideal member anytime.
How is it possible I do not receive a lot of email like a safelist?
This is not like a safelist at all. You do not ever receive email from your downline from a broadcast. You only receive emails from your UPLINE. So you may have 70,000 members you can email to every days but you only receive email from 10 people.
Is this a Forced Matrix?
No, this is not a forced matrix compensation plan. A forced matrix usually only allows 3-5 or in some cases 20-30 members on your first line and then all the people you get after that will spill over to your lower members. This means that your downline will not be able to grow to the large number that truly represents your effort. The problem with forced matrix is that it is good for the lazy and bad for those driven to grow their list. All you would have to do is join under a superstar and never have to get even one referral. So people that do nothing are still rewarded. This attitude will slow the growth of your downline.
With our system, you start by inviting friends and encourage at least 3 members to join under you using your referral link. You can have an infinite amount of people on your 1st level under you. That means that you can not only grow your downline 10 levels deep, but incredibly wide on ALL levels as well.
Can I stop receiving emails from my upline members?
No. The only way to stop getting email from other members in your direct upline is to upgrade to an Ideal member or cancel your account. When you cancel your account, your downline is also deleted. Even if you rejoin later, you cannot recover your contact list. You would have to rejoin as a new member.
Where is my referral link?
It is in your account in the Post Ad and on the promotion tools page.
I have Ideal members on my list. Why didn't I receive the referral signup bonus?
This bonus only applies under certain circumstances. For example, you must have a PayPal email address entered in your profile. Also, this gift only applies when first offered: It does not apply when members upgrade later from inside their accounts.
I posted an ad, but I didn't get a copy of my ad.
You must have at least one contact in your list to send emails to your list, and receive a copy of the email you posted.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can downgrade your Ideal member account to a free member anytime.
Here's the procedure:
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click History at the top of the page.
3. Find the subscription in your History.
4. Click the Details link for the subscription.
5. Click the Cancel Subscription button.
